Are an extension being put on existing safety tickets due to COVID? Ie: tickets expiring in July/Aug etc.

      • Glen July 14, 2020 at 11:38 am Reply

Hello Trevor – Yes, safety tickets have been extended. The letters of extensions are available on the UA 488 website and also on this one. Look at the “Energy safety Canada Safety Tickets” tab.
It will take you to this page:

        Thanks, stay safe.

Why isnt the 3rd year course that was ended due to covid 19 not being offered as one of the first courses after reopen ?

      • Glen August 11, 2020 at 9:12 am Reply

Hello Jordan – Covid-19 forced the College to deliver courses and apprenticeship training online with limited in person activities. The logical progression is to develop these in order of apprenticeship years, starting with First Year Common. AIT has published its course list and the 3rd year training is available, but in other training centers.
